(Some observers have pointed out that news conferences are beginning to sound like the <cite>Saturday Night Live<\/cite> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geocities.com\/Hollywood\/Guild\/5740\/gulfwar.html\">&#8220;Gulf War Briefing&#8221;<\/a> skit.) Finally, in today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.defenselink.mil\/news\/Nov2001\/b11012001_bt560-01.html\">prepared statement<\/a>, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld addressed the question head-on and, in essence, told the press that they are behaving like idiots. Woohoo!
