This morning, the shuttle <em>Discovery<\/em> was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/TECH\/space\/03\/29\/space.shuttle.reut\/index.html\">moved<\/a> from its processing hangar to the Vehicle Assembly Building, where it will be mated with a redesigned external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters. <em>Discovery<\/em>&#8216;s rollout to the launch pad is scheduled for next Monday, and her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/TECH\/space\/03\/22\/space.shuttle\/index.html\">launch<\/a> is tentatively planned for May 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NASA&#8217;s space shuttle program may be approaching the end of its two-year hiatus.
