I have the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000002SL0\/qid%3D1117028580\/sr%3D11-1\/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1\/103-7778213-1092627\">cast recording<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibdb.com\/production.asp?ID=4598\">1994 Broadway revival<\/a> playing on my car stereo so I can sing along. <a href=\"http:\/\/raleighlittletheatre.org\/\">RLT<\/a>&#8216;s production of <em>Carousel<\/em> opens a week from Friday, and the more I practice the better. I&#8217;m stopped at a traffic light, and my attention is focused more on what I&#8217;m singing than on the view of the car ahead of me. But gradually, I realize what I am seeing on the car&#8217;s trunk lid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"407\" height=\"134\" src=\"https:\/\/patberry.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/carousls.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-600\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s an advertising sticker for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carouselauto.com\/front.htm\">car dealership<\/a> in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Apparently someone drove a car from there to North Carolina just to make the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
